Month-long Da'wah Training-2025 Completed

Successfully completed our annual training program for community leaders. The program covered various aspects of community service and Islamic teachings.

By the grace of Allah, the Rokeya Kobir Foundation has successfully completed its month-long Da'wah Training for 2025. This annual programme is one of the most meaningful parts of our work, because it invests in the people who hold our communities together: the leaders, teachers and volunteers whom others turn to for guidance and support.

Why this training matters

Every community needs people who can lead with knowledge, humility and compassion. Our foundation was built on the belief that education and ethical values go hand in hand, and that real social change begins when people understand both their faith and their responsibility towards others. The Da'wah Training brings these two together. It is not only about learning; it is about preparing participants to serve, to listen, and to set a good example in their own neighbourhoods.

What the programme covered

Over the course of the month, participants explored various aspects of community service alongside Islamic teachings. Sessions focused on understanding the values of kindness, honesty, patience and justice, and on how those values can be put into practice in everyday life. Participants reflected on the importance of caring for neighbours, supporting the poor and vulnerable, and working together for the common good.

Equal attention was given to the practical side of community leadership: how to organise people around a shared goal, how to communicate respectfully with people of different backgrounds, and how to identify the needs of a community and respond to them responsibly. The aim was to help each participant leave not only with more knowledge, but with greater confidence to act on it.

A shared journey

A month is a long commitment, and we are deeply grateful to every participant who gave their time and attention throughout the programme. Learning together over several weeks created a strong sense of brotherhood and sisterhood among participants, and many friendships and working relationships formed along the way. We are equally thankful to the trainers and organisers whose dedication made the programme possible.

From training to action

The true measure of this programme is what happens after it ends. We pray and hope that participants will carry what they learned back to their communities: in the way they guide young people, support families in difficulty, and encourage others to take part in good work. Many of our foundation's activities, from education to welfare and social work, depend on exactly this kind of committed local leadership.

Looking ahead

The Rokeya Kobir Foundation remains committed to holding this training every year and to improving it with each new session. We believe that strong, compassionate leaders are one of the greatest gifts a community can have.
